Mr Monkey's Last Wedding Reception Adventures Menu

In October of 2002, Mr Monkey and i took a trip to his home state of Minnesota to attend my brother's wedding. As Mr M is getting on in years & is starting to look a bit worse for the wear, i took along a Stunt Double for him.

The camera i was using was kinda cruddy (it has since been replaced), so most of the pictures are blurry and/or have weird color (the first picture, in case you were wondering, is not one of the ones whose color has been made weird by the camera...). If you have a slow connection, you might want to not bother clicking the thumbnails cuz the full-sized photos they link to aren't so great.

Even though Mr Monkey was invited to the wedding, he didn't get to go. I had put him in the pocket of my sweater so i wouldn't forget to take him, but in the last-minute confusion, i changed my mind about which sweater i was going to wear.

I was glad to find that i had remembered to bring along Mr Monkey's Stunt Double, S.D. Monkey.

S.D. found John sleeping in the lobby, and despite my protests, clambered all over him like a jungle gym. S.D. sitting on John 'What the--?' Of course John was eventually awakened by this. Fortunately he was a very good sport about it.
Mr M hanging from a wreath At the reception that evening, Mr Monkey seemed to be taking the disappointment suspiciously well. Here you see him playing quietly in one of the decorations at the banquet hall. I'm not sure if Dianne knew she had a passenger or not, but i wasn't gonna be the one to tell her. Mr Monkey and Qi
Several people claimed to have discovered Mr M fishing around in their purses. Mr Monkey in someone's purse every wedding reception should have a flamethrower Mr Monkey denies having brought the robotic flamethrower to the party. I believe him since i'm pretty sure i would have noticed it in the pocket of my coat.
