Last time i talked to my friend JoJo (approximately 1998), this is where he worked, doing extensions & stuff. They also do tattoos & piercing. They're in the space that used to be Avalon nightclub; you can see into their shop from the southbound Belmont El platform.

It's a little piercing shop inside the store The Alley (where, conveniently enough, you could buy things to cram into you new holes). The piercer's name is Scott Jania. That's all i know.

My friend Bob Jones ("Hotter Than Hell") moved his body piercing racket here in 2005. He emailed to say he didn't approve of my previous suggestion that you celebrate his move by going to get something jammed through your face, so please instead go have something pierced -- and don't limit yourself to the face. He also wanted me to add to my free advertisement of his shop that they do tatooing as well. Now i guess i'll hear from Bob saying he doesn't appreciate my snarky commentary. Oh well, Bob, you get what you pay for :)
